The Author Choice (“we,” “our,” or “us”) provides publishing assistance and author support services designed to help authors through various stages of the publishing process. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the conditions under which refunds or cancellations may be requested.

Scope of Services & Refund Considerations

Refunds may be considered only in the following circumstances:

• Services were not delivered according to the agreed service scope
• Technical, processing, or billing errors occurred during payment
• A service was canceled before any work commenced

We do not guarantee outcomes such as book sales, rankings, revenue, reviews, platform approvals, or market performance. Refunds are not issued based on subjective dissatisfaction, personal expectations, or performance results, provided services were delivered as agreed.

Refund Eligibility

To be eligible for a refund request:

• Requests must be submitted within 10 days of payment, unless otherwise stated in a written service agreement
• Valid order details and a clear reason for the request must be provided
• The service must not have been fully completed or delivered

All refund requests are evaluated based on service stage, work completed, and deliverables provided, in accordance with this policy.

Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be issued when:

• Work has commenced and deliverables have been partially completed
• Time, labor, or resources have already been allocated

Any approved partial refund will be calculated proportionally based on:

• The stage of service completion
• Deliverables already provided
• Time and resources incurred

Refund Request Process

To request a refund:

• Requests are reviewed within 5–7 business days
• Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days
• A confirmation email is sent once processing is complete

Cancellation Policy

• Services canceled before work begins are eligible for a full refund
• Services canceled after work has commenced may qualify for a partial refund only
• Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing and include order details

Non-Refundable Services

The following are non-refundable:

• Services that have been fully completed and delivered as agreed
• Consultation, advisory, or strategy sessions that have already taken place
• Costs related to third-party platforms, tools, or publishing services
